Terms of Service

Effective January 1, 2026. The scope, timeline, and fees of each engagement are governed by the written proposal signed by both parties.

1. What we are, and what we are not

Beacon GEO is an independent generative engine optimization (GEO) agency providing brand entity governance, content semantic optimization, off-site authority context building, and cross-platform visibility monitoring.

We are not affiliated with, an agent of, or an employee of any AI platform, and we do not control or influence the outputs of any large language model. We do not provide or promise any specific AI-generated result.

2. Scope of services

  • AI visibility audits and baseline reports;
  • Strategy and question-set design;
  • On-site entity and content optimization, and structured data deployment;
  • Off-site authority context and citation-path development;
  • Cross-platform visibility monitoring and regular reporting.

The specific scope, schedule, and deliverables of each engagement are governed by the written proposal.

3. Fees and payment

  • Fees follow a monthly subscription or phased-project model, with amounts and periods specified in the written proposal;
  • Quotes are based on audit findings; we don't use vague ranges to win signatures;
  • Payment methods, invoicing, and cancellation terms are confirmed in each engagement contract.

4. Client responsibilities

  • Provide true and accurate business and factual information;
  • Confirm key facts before publication;
  • Hold lawful rights to any third-party materials provided.

5. Results disclaimer

Large language model outputs are generated by the platform owners and change continuously. We systematically improve the probability and consistency of your brand being understood, cited, and recommended, but we do not promise and cannot guarantee any specific citation or recommendation outcome, and nothing here constitutes a revenue guarantee. What we do commit to is process quality: verifiable deliverables, clearly defined measurement, and honest phase-by-phase judgment.

6. Intellectual property

Except for third-party platforms and materials, reports, documents, and optimization plans produced for an engagement belong to the client once fees are settled. We retain the right to present anonymized descriptions of our methodology where authorized.

7. Confidentiality

Both parties keep confidential any business information obtained during the engagement and will not disclose it to third parties without written consent (except where required by law).

8. Changes and termination

Monthly engagements may be paused or terminated with the agreed notice period; project engagements follow the contract. When we judge that continued investment is no longer worthwhile, we will proactively recommend adjusting or terminating.

9. Governing law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. Disputes will first be addressed through friendly negotiation.
